Yaqin MS-2A3

HiFi tube amplifier working in a 2x15W push-pull system in full A class, working in triode mode. Wide range of frequency 6Hz-75kHz, headphone output, remote gain control and signal input selector. The amplifier reproduces a very even sound, without any coloration. Lack of any noise or hum is an advantage of high quality transformers used. It perfectly copes with the efficiency of columns with efficiency of the order of 86-87dB. Works best with high impedance loudspeakers.

The Yaqin MS-2A3 amplifier is a tube amplifier operating in the puch-pull system based on 2 2A3 power tubes (the younger brother of the 300B lamp) per channel and 2 control lamps (1x12AX7 and 1x 12AU7) per channel. This model is equipped with manual adjustment of the bias power tubes.

The amplifier uses a circuit that protects the lamps during the start procedure. After switching on the power supply, the amplifier goes into the mute state - the corresponding LED lights up on the front panel. For several dozen seconds the glow voltage is applied to the lamps, after which anode voltage is applied to the input tubes. After a few seconds, the anode voltage is also applied to the output stage, and the amplifier goes into standby mode. The entire procedure takes about 40s. The power supply of this amplifier uses separate power transformers, chokes and filters for individual stages enable their complete isolation. Capacitors with large capacities were used in systems filtering network ripple.

On the front panel there are 4 input selector switches and a potentiometer knob. Gain adjustment is also carried out using a remote control that starts the servo mechanically connected to the potentiometer. On the back of the amplifier has four RCA line inputs and power outputs for 4 and 8 Ohm speakers

A solid aluminum remote control is added to the amplifier to change the volume and select inputs and an Allen key power cable and a bias screwdriver. Everything was placed in a solid housing. The top cover is made of black anodic aluminum, with silver inset in front. The protective cage for power tubes is also made of aluminum.
